The BSU loaded with 9 45 lb plates.

An incredibly simple, convenient, heavy duty basic swing solution.  The newly designed Modular Plateau Buster handle with thicker grip(just under 1-3/8" diameter) and a single loading pin.  Together these offer a fantastic training tool to get your swing on.  Put it in your gym bag and go.  Or just have it at home loaded up, beckoning you to swing every time you look at it.  The convenient plug in design and built to last quality that StrongerGrip is known for. Use it for swings, for duck walks or for training the strongman event power stairs.  Loading pin has 12-3/4" of loading area.  Holds approx. 8 olympic 45 lb plates. Plates used were 1-1/2" thick.  If you have thinner plates, it'll hold more, thicker, less.  Longer loading pins can be requested for a small add-on charge.

    Another Winner

The basic swing unit is even better than I'd hoped. The workmanship is outstanding and the unit is a bargain, especially when considering the cost of individual kettlebells! I should've bought one years ago.

Excellant tool for a simple movement

Posted by Thomas Cunningham on 3rd Feb 2016

BSU is a no non-sense tool for a big bang for your buck exercise. Have used daily KB swings for a while, but loading up the BSU feels much different (and better). Heavy loads really work the whole body and I especially feel my grip. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a simple tool to build great strength.

    just awesome

Solid, simple, and sinister...my basic swing unit is great!!! Had a go with 150 for 5x20 and it wanted more! Me, that was plenty for now, but I know that I will get better, and that "mongo" (I named it) will never fail me. Once you outgrow the kettlebell swing get 1of these!

Simple Solution in Grip Strength Training

Posted by Unknown on 25th Jun 2013

This is a really great product for grip strength training. It's deceptively simple, but really a great challenge. It's nice and compact, so it can go anywhere with me. Whether it's my gym bag or other travel, this guy is just perfect. This is a fantastic deal on an essential piece of grip strength training equipment. Don't miss out.

Easily fits in my gym bag

The quality of Ryan's products are without peer. This swing handle allows for a comfortable two handed grip (something difficult to do with even a large kettlebell). I was looking for something that I could take to the gym, load up and swing away without hauling a 48kg kettlebell through the front door (something that most commercial gyms are going to struggle with). The wider handle is going to force a slightly wider stance, but not so wide as to cause a problem. If you are a shorter person (I'd say under 5' 4" - but I'm just guessing), you might want to measure before ordering since it it is longer. I'm 5'11" and have absolutely no problems. Great product at a great price - thanks!

I loaded this bad boy up to over 400lbs using extra kettlebells and weight vests and it worked as good as I could have hoped for. Solid Construction, fast shipping. How could you ask for more?
    Thanks Ryan!

Simple, sturdy, @ easy to use; The Basic Swing Unit delivers as a training tool for heavy swings. I had not ventured into heavy swings beyond using standard size kettlebells...Now I can!

Grip Strength Training in Your Gym Bag

Posted by Unknown on 11th Mar 2013

This is such a simple tool for grip strength training, I'm really surprised that I haven't seen one of these things elsewhere. It's not much more than a handle with a loading pin, but this thing can hold a lot of weight. Plus, I love how small it is. I mean, you could just keep a keg around for grip strength training, but I prefer this smaller, more practical tool.
