Here is an alternative to shot/media loaded maces and solid fixed weight maces. This Plate Loadable Mace has the nice handle size of 1.66". Just like the standard StrongerGrip Monster,6" Mace/core club, short mace and thick handled grip clubs. Uses standard 1" plates. Easy weight change and plenty of loading area! Recommended 5 lb standard plates with smooth edges. Has a solid design where there is no extra loading shaft sticking out after plates are on. Another excellent benefit of the StrongerGrip PLM is the locking setscrew to secure the shaft and stop the loosensing of the plates while using. Empty weight of 12 lbs. You can load this up to any desired weight you can handle! Overall length 42". Added weight plates increase the length.

This mace, as with all SG products, is so well made. What else can you say about Ryan's creations other than they are unusually exceptional, and will last for generations.

I've got one of these. Big props to Ryan Pitts for making this thing plate loadable. This is the Rolls Royce of Gada's. You can put more weight on it than anyone can swing. Very nice swing either one or two handed. You can load or unload in seconds. If you like big squat, big deadlifts and want a big swing. Look no further. This is the real deal.

This is even more savage than I was expecting! So well built, it's easy to imagine teaching my grandchildren to swing it!

This Plate-Loadable Mace is an outstanding product. The design is unique and allows for easy weight changes with no shifting of the weights once they've been mounted. The construction is extra heavy duty, which seems to be a hallmark of Ryan's work. Unlike other products of this type, the mace handle is a full 1.66" in diameter and is much more of a grip challenge than products with narrower handles. It's not what I'd call "pretty", but the evidence that it's handmade and unique is part of its appeal. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone considering training with a mace!
